In a world where uncertainty often takes center stage, there are those rare moments that rekindle our belief in magic. Today, we’re basking in the glow of such a tale – a story of heartache and hope, perseverance and joy. This is the cherished chronicle of the Jones family and the miracle of their twin babies, Huxton and Maya.
Climbing a Steep Mountain
Cami and her husband, along with David and me, shared a memorable LDS mission. They were the matchmakers who brought us together, evolving into cherished friends in our lives. Witnessing them navigate the hardships of fertility treatments was unexpected, each setback adding to the challenge ahead. Their determination to reach the summit inspired me, their positive outlook shining through as they embraced their daughter and the joy of life.
The Happiest Day and Journey to Twins
A few months back, I had the joy of capturing her exciting announcement picture, revealing that she was expecting twins to the world. She had this onesie that read “proof of miracles” long before her pregnancy. And when she learned it was twins, she snagged another that said “answer to prayers.” Her unwavering determination truly inspired me, turning what seemed like a miraculous pregnancy into a journey of hope and joy.
The Naming of The Duo
Cami told me the story of how her babies were named by Audrey, their 6 year old. Recently she wrote an Instagram quote that said it all too well.
“Audrey is so proud that she picked both baby names. People don’t usually believe her, but it’s true!
About a year before I was even pregnant, Audrey had a dream about a baby brother named Huxton. She talked about it for days, and kept saying “I wish I could have that dream again! He was so cute!” And the name Huxton just stuck 🥲
When I found out I was pregnant (and when we thought it was only one baby), I showed Audrey on an app on my phone what the baby looked like . She got so excited and said “Oh my gosh! It’s a dinosaur! It’s a Maiasaurus” 😆 So, she started calling the baby Maya. And again, it just stuck.
Daniel and I talked and talked about names the entire pregnancy, but in the end we knew they were meant to be Huxton and Maya”
Beams of Hope
The presence of Huxton and Maya shines as a beacon of hope for those facing fertility challenges.Their presence radiates like a beacon in the stormy seas of despair, a gentle nudge that even in the darkest nights, miracles have room to blossom.

Today, as we joyfully toast to the Jones babes, Huxton and Maya, we do so with a deep appreciation for the magnificence they’ve already brought to the world. Their story teaches us that miracles are not mere twists of fate but vessels of unwavering love and unstoppable spirit.
